At least I didn't go full Chrisblor and quote all the users who replied and rubbished my opinion that nobody would pay the asking price (around £750,000) for Tshimanga. I think the term has developed certain connotations over time as it is often used far more frequently as an insult against black men than Caucasian men. The meaning of the phrase is that a man who "walks with a limp" does so because he has the means & proceeds of crimes in his pockets. i.e. a gun, a large amount of money & jewelry etc... It has been adopted to play on the racist trope that black people can only have money and nice things through illegal means,

So not a racist term as such but one that is disproportionately directed at black people as an insult which is the kinder world we now live in makes it more problematic.

I was thinking the same. Perhaps ska can close it with his rumours table, and then somebody reopen the thread or a new Rumours Mk 2 Thread at Christmas.
