Hi all,

There’s a possibility that I may have to drive next Sunday if we’re unable to get on a coach. Anyone in the know for which tube is best to take or cheap (ish) parking near the ground? Wembley is generally an easy drive, but feeling a bit more apprehensive about this one.

Thank you in advance

Loads of ‘park on my drives’ and ‘my parking space’ round there. I’ve paid £20 for all day parking 10 minutes walk from the ground.

"Falls to Arnold... Arnold! That's it! Thats it! He's sealed it! Grimsby Town are back in the football league!!! Just a minute to go and Nathan Arnold makes it 3-1! Look at the scenes behind the goal! Look at the relief! The agony is finally over!!!"

Parking at stratford itself...ncp etc...  but also a lot of areas in London have free parking on sundays ( apart from touristy areas) so you'll find park 1 or 2 tube stops away.  Sratford itself is a shithole of bland corporate shopping centre proportions.

If you’re driving from Grimsby there couldn’t be an easier London ground to get to. Used to live in nearby Leytonstone, and was an easy drive with it being nott east London.

I have been looking at some of the tube stations to the East a bit further out and none of them had free parking and I would think that due to the Jubilee celebrations those car parks will get filled up quite quickly.

You can park at Stratford city Westfield it closes at 6 but 2 of the car parks can be entered and exited 24/7 it’s about 13 quid for parking I think that’s where I’m going to head to

Leytonstone underground station has a good size car park and is only 2 stops on the Central Line from Stratford. I’ve used it a few times including an AJ fight at the o2 and never had a problem parking there. On Sundays it costs £3 for the whole day.

We should get together a list of information like this, methods of transportation, whats on, maybe the club can put it out (im sure they may be doing something to that effect anyway but maybe we'll find extra info) and then get it out there as soon as, things like this may entice a few extra
