This is a dry subject.  I think that we need a joke about accountants.

A woman is informed by her doctor that she is terminally ill.  In his opinion she only has about 6 months to live.

“Is there anything that can be done she asks?”

“I am truly sorry.  The only thing that I can suggest is that you marry an accountant as soon as possible”.

“Is that likely to give me a few extra months?”

“No, but it will seem like that”.
