Never really noticed until today but plenty of empty seats below the old directors box in the Main Stand.

Is this the new scouting area because it was in row T in the Upper ?

That area was restricted for Covid measures, I'm assuming they haven't opened it up yet

First half we couldn't string two passes together, they were faster and stronger than us all over the park

Almost had a heart attack when Waterfall slid in, my view was obstructed so I didn't see if he got the ball or not

Second half we were much better, Scannel was brilliant. JMD changed the game when he came on

The crowd was excellent in the second half, what a result

Heart was in my mouth then. Not seen a replay of it yet but that could easily have gone either way and the result would have been a lot different if the ref had given a pen and sent Waterfall off.

Never thought I would say this but I thought Lenny could have done better than Taylor today.

Why? It wasn't Taylor's fault that the service to him was shocking in the first half. LJL can't control it and his lay offs/flick ons are just hopeful. Taylor places it where he wants it to go knowing what is going on around and behind him. LJL isn't fit to lace Taylor's boots.

Taylor is class, and his technique and experience were pivotal today.

...in Leicestershire, wake up call for our buzz about our newfound midfield, and second best in all areas until the sending off. PH said in the pre-match that he thinks they could do a double promotion and I agree. I can't recall a better team in all the lockdown games I watched on ifollow - maybe Morecambe were close but I think Stockport have more quality round the pitch. Wrong call by Challinor to take Quigley off instead of Madden perhaps, he was giving Luke his toughest shift of the season. Great call by PH to bring JMD on early in the second half and excellent team spirit from our boys, with that extra bit of quality from JMcAtee again to get us level - only one winner after that...

Fair point, we all know Lenny couldn't hit a cow's bottom with a banjo.

Reminded me of the Crawley team that went up that season , first to every ball very well organised and pressed as a team. They will win the league imo best team here in a long time but todays our day

Brilliant day all round. Didn't think their goal was offside as many claimed at the time. Was just a well worked goal and 25 minutes in I was not too confident we'd even get a point. Even when they got the red, which was a red IMO (maybe not as much as a memorable yellow in 01/02) I still wanted us to just get in at HT only 1 down.

Of course the red changed the complexion of the game, but for me, the real pivot was them taking Quigley off. Big mistake IMO, Madden is no mug but surely leave Quigley on out of the two as he looked extremely difficult for us to deal with. I was suddenly a lot more confident seeing him not come out for the 2nd half.

Great goal by McAtee, and Holohan did really well coming onto his with his weaker foot. Well done town for holding out against clearly the best team in the league IMO. Thought the Stockport fans were brilliant and still can't understand why they didn't get more tickets. Great Good Friday

Now if you'll excuse me, I have a certain Paul Hayes I'd like to get in touch with on twitter.

Not a red card offence, as it was in the area, outside the area and it is.

Baldrick ! The only impression you can do is that of a man with no talent !!

Thought they were absolute class before the sending off, you can see why they are top.

Obviously them going down to 10 men changed the game.

McAtee at the end of the game shaking most of their players hands and then coming over to the Findus to acknowledge the fans, we are lucky to have him.

Don't think the sending off effected it that much as much as
Challinor taking Quigley off did.
Didn't scratch them while 11 vs 11, hardly touched them while 10 vs 11 really.
Second half dominated. H
I said at half time I would take a point, they were streets above anyone else we have played this year but without Quigley they had nothing to worry us and we took advanage.
Great second half, great comeback regardless of  10 men, What a day !!!
