As a nipper we used to have our annual summer holiday on Arran. Beautiful island.

Many happy memories of Goatfell, Lamlash and Glen Rosa but buuuugger me the sea was cold! We'd turn blue....didn't stop us taking a dip mind.

Is the Waverley ferry still running?

Wish I could be at BP tomorrow as desperately need my Mariners fix.


We will be tackling Goatfell at some point in the next few days. Probably after the Bank Holiday when it's quieter.

The Waverley is currently operating in the Clyde only. Been to Arran many times but have never managed to get on it for one reason or another.
