Feels like Christmas Eve! Can’t wait! Come on town!!!

"Falls to Arnold... Arnold! That's it! Thats it! He's sealed it! Grimsby Town are back in the football league!!! Just a minute to go and Nathan Arnold makes it 3-1! Look at the scenes behind the goal! Look at the relief! The agony is finally over!!!"

Some right bellends responding in the chat, almost makes me want to become a communist...

And people (often readers of broadsheets) like to have a dig at the Fishy

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Sat on the coast on the Isle of Arran with beautiful weather and a glorious view over the sea to the mainland.

It's fantastic and there's nowhere I'd rather be right now, except BP tomorrow.

Here's hoping for a bumper crowd and a winning start.

Enjoy the day folks.

I do enjoy your posts from various locations around Scotland. You have now convinced me that you are Towns secret agent looking for the wearer of the exclusive No9 shirt.

On the other hand, you could just be on a genuine holiday.

Best feeling in the world.

Just got to hope it pans out better than all those other optimistic pre season threads we have every summer!

I’m glad most seem to have tempered their enthusiasm about p1ssinh this tinpot league as pretty certain mid table beckons.

Just had a week on the Outer Hebrides and got the 7 am ferry from the Isle of Barra this morning. The weather was glorious and the sunsets were staggering. Never seen such beautiful beaches, blue sea and crimson sunsets in my life. And there was hardly a soul there to see it.

Was also treated to a pod of dolphins on the trip over to Oban.

Think I'd still rather  be at BP tomorrow though.

As a nipper we used to have our annual summer holiday on Arran. Beautiful island.

Many happy memories of Goatfell, Lamlash and Glen Rosa but buuuugger me the sea was cold! We'd turn blue....didn't stop us taking a dip mind.

Is the Waverley ferry still running?

Wish I could be at BP tomorrow as desperately need my Mariners fix.
