Well the list showing the club staff shows Club Secretary so maybe she is just a secretary but seems high up on the list.

It does. But maybe Club Secretary different to Company Secretary. Club Sec for the football admin stuff and Company Secretary for the legal duties under Company Law.

Companies House shows IF as company Secretary.

I expect that now he’s going someone else will become Company Secretary.

I do wonder what is happening at Town these days. Ian Fleming has gone, groundsman has gone (or is going), 2nd ads for chef and facilities managers. These were not Fentyites but quality employees who had a lot of knowledge about the club and had been years with it.

I am not knocking our new owners but I am intrigued as to why you want to get rid of ( or any other words you may choose to use) 2 experienced people.

We don’t know if the likes of Fleming were on the side of Fenty, not just because he was their employer. Let’s face it, we know many staff were hamstrung by Fenty and his ways but also, you’d imagine the new owners don’t suffer fools. Perhaps some of these staff were done, perhaps to truly move forward new blood is needed. What has always baffled me is having heard the stories from many a person inside the club, i don’t think many of us would r hung around under the old regime…I know it’s a job and better the devil you know but hearing stuff, I think working in Tesco’s would’ve been easier.

I can’t imagine the new owners are keen on slackers and shirkers…

Playing devils advocate, in truth, knowing what we know about decision making etc you can’t imagine Fleming did much, not necessarily through his own fault…perhaps the increased pressure and workload have made him reassess…or he’s just had enough and taken the opportunity given to him and is off to sit in his garden and relax?

Someone mentioned a facilities manager appointed then left, any news on that? Or have I read it wrong?

What sort of salaries do facilities managers, CEOs etc of two bit clubs earn?

Yes the job title is different but the duties look very similar to me.
