Well both Cardwell and Vernam went to Chorley mid season and we loaned that forward out last season whose name completely escapes me so pretty sure we we will be fine.

I know I will get shot down in flames over this but I don't get this obsession with signing a recognised 20+ goal a season striker. Who was our most successful goalscorer in our promotion season ? It was Podge and he never came here as a recognised striker. Players can be adapted to play another role and end up being very successful at it. For all we know Hurst could have such a player in his sights or maybe see one of our existing squad as being adapted to a new role. I would rather Hurst wait and get what he specifically wants.
