Coke as captain I wonder if that’s for the season or just today?

343 I'm guessing looking at that line up

I don't mind Roy Keane making £60,000 a week. I was making the same when I was playing. The only difference was I was printing my own - Mickey Thomas

The area you are trying to protect at corners is the goal - Chris Kamara

I once said Gazza's IQ was less than his shirt number and he asked me: What's an IQ? - George Best

Khouri can cover left back so may be a 433, or even a 4321

But you may be right, as Hurst tried the 3 at the back last season for a few games didnt he?

A Joel Grant first half hattrick would do nicely today having seen him in training the other day.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

As always, I never judge pre-season performances as such, win or lose. They really are just a glorified training session. But this year, with the feel good factor kicking in I would like to see a few wins.
However, I remember bigging up the squad that absolutely hammered Winterton one year.
Can anyone guess what happened that season??

Clue ( 😕😕)

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

Full team sheet. Interesting to see that Hurst favours 2 U-18's in his squad than any of those players who are still contracted and free to leave.

Also because it is known that there have been Covid cases amongst the Clee team (which is why their friendly with Brigg was cancelled at short notice) they have 8 trialists on their team sheet. I hope Hurst keeps a sneaky eye on them too.
