Not moved by it either way. Except I don’t like the hexagons on the blue shirt - I’ll have a G please Bob.

Tempted by the polo shirts but whether I get one depends on what material they’re made from.

Ooh, the True Believers don’t like it when you’re less than 100%. I expect there’ll be a fatwah declared on me by the red cross  brigade

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

It looks like a Town shirt for a start, which is an improvement on last season's shocker (which was pretty apt given the shysters who wore it for most of the season). Nice to see the red socks back too - don't know why we did away with those.

I'm not keen on red socks, as they don't match a black and white shirt at all.

I don't know why we did away with white shorts, our original kit for forty-five years from 1878 to 1923.

The mention of colour bad luck could be green, which was considered to be bad luck in the fishing industry.

No goalkeeper for Town wore a green jersey, until George Kerr ignored the tradition.

With regard to red socks, a few of us have seen Town play in black and white stripes with red shorts.
Only for a few games at home, but on that basis, I think Town were the first football league team to wear red shorts, as I said for only a few matches.

Please don't contradict me by saying the shirts were white with black edgings, they came a few years later.

Jeremiah Sherlock Fenty , our chairman back then, decided white shorts were too difficult to wash so to save on soap and washboard usage he swapped the colour.

That’s me who’ll need to check under my car then 😆.

I don’t care. You can’t shut me up. I will be heard. I neither like nor dislike the new strip. It’s meh. Now get a life.

There, I’ve said it. 😆

Just seen the back of the new shirt…once again a great looking shirt(from the front) spoilt by basically being just a white shirt on the back, so if sat in the pontoon and Town are attacking the Osmond it’ll be like watching Leeds/Bolton/England etc etc
It’s quite simple…Town play in black and white stripes, no matter where you are in the ground or where Town are playing, shouldn’t you have the basic knowledge of seeing  your team wearing a black and white striped shirt?….or is it just me?

I’ve said this for the last two or three seasons but I’ve decided to buy the new shirt and try and add some black stripes onto the back and I guarantee it will look better than the shirts that Town will wear!

Are we any closer to getting promoted since Hurst has been here? No

Has he been given time to achieve promotion by the chairman and fans? Yes

Hurst out

There is scientific support for the theory that wearing some red has a beneficial aggression response for a team.

And we wore red socks in 1979/80, won the championship and it was Jason Stockwood’s first season watching Town so there you have it, it’s red socks for the foreseeable future…and I’m happy with that…

Anyone bought one yet ?
When i was in shop the other day the shirts were being unboxed, they looked a very thin package so imagining it's very lightweight shirt?

I find that happens if one starts drinking Buckfast early on a warm day. The next stage, early evening, will be shouting at oneself using expletives, then the day finishes with a good old punch up with oneself - Fight Club style…
