It looks like a Town shirt for a start, which is an improvement on last season's shocker (which was pretty apt given the shysters who wore it for most of the season). Nice to see the red socks back too - don't know why we did away with those.
I’m sure someone at the club said it became known as a bad luck charm to have red socks - someone else said similar about Nike kits. Absolutely nothing to do with underinvestment obviously.

I’d have gone for black where the white is and white where the black is personally.

So do we play in " black and white" stripes or "white and black" stripes?

Blaming the Nike kits…laughable isn’t it; especially as we reached a play off final wearing a Nike kit yet lost the best players and the manager through…let me guess…

I think they look much better. Love the stripes, that’s the Town I want to see. Just one thing. What about the back view?
I don’t think you’ll like it if you love stripes.

Not moved by it either way. Except I don’t like the hexagons on the blue shirt - I’ll have a G please Bob.
Tempted by the polo shirts but whether I get one depends on what material they’re made from.

Really? Well that's shite. When was it decided that our shirts could no longer be fully-striped? Neecastle have full stripes front and back. Our shirts look awful with those blank panels and is one of the main reasons I haven't bought one in years.

Is the back all white like the home kit Sheff Utd had a couple of years ago - meaning the view for fans will be like this: (also I think the badges are a bit far apart on the home kit - like some of the shirts we had in the '90s)

Pretty sure there is a ruling somewhere regards having a single panel on the back for number recognition....now whether that is for european games so the major kit suppliers just make all the same to save overheads I dont know. I know Sheff Utd fans hated their lack of back stripes but Adidas explained it away that way.
