Interesting that Hurst only spoke to Pearson recently.  Suggests that there are other CB targets and that once Pollock was confirmed as leaving, Hurst made a move.

For many reasons this is a good signing.

What can you really say about signing Shaun. Dammed if you do and dammed if they didn't, which seems to be the opinion on here.

Let's face it Hurst has to start somewhere, so why not with someone he knows will give all for the club. We have to build a team, not a group of individuals who are individually good, but players to make a team, with passion, determination, and proud to wear the shirt. I am sure Shaun's leadership on and off the field will help achieve this.

The time for judgement is not now but August.

I think that's more down to the fact that Wrexham's season only ended last Saturday when they failed to reach the play-offs.
