One of the most enjoyable aspects of being NL last time was mingling pre-match with some opposition fans in more relaxed surroundings. Eastleigh, Welling, Tamworth and a few others were particularly good, and I can remember a the organisers of a beer festival at one club almost in tears of joy after town fans emptied every barrel in the tent.

Always thought BP was a bit unwelcoming to away fans - the only place you could get a pint was in Cleethorpes 20 mins walk away. Something like this would work even better in NL, looking forward to it.

That was at Ebbsfleet. I think they sold out about 45 minutes before kick-off.

Great idea, long overdue sounds like it’s going to be set up right, for me this is the first statement of intent from the club in terms of getting everyone on the same page and hopefully in the right direction.

Just hope there’s enough bar staff on not to have to wait too long for a pint 😉

This. Although we obviously would rather stay in the FL there's some decent clubs and fans in NL.

Yep. I want us to stay up by hook or by crook, but if the worst happens there are some cracking away days to be had in the National League next season.

I’m just looking forward to getting back to matches - it’s the thing I’ve missed most I reckon.

agreed - when we get the likes of eastleigh , bromley and altrincham, we can allocate them a table and cater for the whole away following

Is Nick Dale still in charge of the stadium ?  I can see him not wanting away supporters in a fanzone due to our large hooligan element being ready to ambush them.

Looking forward to this. Great idea. Good to see some forward thinking.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Wherever we end up, there’s an awful lot to look forward to. Sooner be in our position than Bury or Macclesfield. The fans make the club. I’m going to enjoy it whatever.
