I like the way he was very careful when he was explaining how Ollie kept moving the goalposts. A pretty shittee thing to do to a young player who he signed. Telling him he needs to lose weight. He does it in 7 weeks and then tells him he won't play him.
Is there any wonder the players didn't know their 'arris from their elbow if he was messing with their heads all the time

I’m not so sure. He might have been testing his character. The lad then knocked on Runaway’s door and was assertive. Maybe that’s what he was looking for (as well as ticking the fitness boxes).

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Did he say ‘I paid to watch football’? Do you think he meant he paid to watch Town games?

Yes, I picked up on that too, not sure what he exactly meant by that though.

Makes a change to hear a well spoken footballer, rather that one that says "you know" or "err" every few words. Good luck to the lad, hope he gets his chance tomorrow.

He could have just cut it down a bit by saying.... " yeah he was a total cnt with me really ".

The previous bits and bobs i have seen of his have been interesting, very much a young lad who appreciates he is a footballer and seems desperate, yet confident,  to make it.

While its only one side of the story i think there was enough in there for us all to connect with him on his potentially unfair treatment regards lack of opportunity ...compared to some others.

Will be certainly rooting for him a little bit more based on that.

Comes across as a bright lad, articulate and frank. Admirable attitude and a sense of perspective despite clearly having been through the mill a bit since he signed. No unnecessary deference to departed individuals and no stories about hamsters' cocks. Good to listen to and good luck to him.

An impressive interview certainly. He's a bright, confident , articulate young man. He has a bit about him as a player too. We'll have to wait and see if he makes it at football league level, but I have a feeling that if we end up getting relegated he may be an important player for us next season in the National League.
