Taking the positives, unbeaten in two, haven't done that in a while...

Well firstly the positives. Macca had an easy night but had to do what he was meant to when required.
Thought Clifton and Hewitt did well and though he still try’s to over play it Mayonesse looked more confident. Hendrie did his defensive duties reasonably well too.
Coke looked ok and Hanson at times looked like the irritation to defenders he can be, but he needs someone more more bike off him as he and Lenny are too similar.
The passing at times looked better than it’s been and the players overall worked hard.
Felt we needed to get on if the 2 CM’s further forward but they did do a bit of a job on Matette in the 2nd half.
That’s the positives the rest was poor to be honest and we looked devoid of any real spark, flair or ideas.

the furstrating thing is that, apart from Payne, nobody had a bad game. they tried hard and there was nice stuff in patches. We look far less fragile and i don't see any lack of effort. Its a) we don't create much b) we don't take our chances and c) overall we're just not quite good enough, For me these games are now becoming an exercise in who i think could do a job for us in the Conference

I thought we played well. Our lack of diverse options up top will cost us: defence not troubled , Macca was very good, midfield solid but can’t help but think Amond sort of player with Hanson would’ve buried the few chances we had

That sounds reasonable. So in the entire playing set up lets keep Dave Moore as I feel he'll do a good job their. We just need management, players etc.

1st half was good, then Hurst gave his half time team talk. For some reason we then drifted into obscurity and salvaged a point.

I feel like several players have given up for the season already. Hurst has probably already told some of them that they are being released at the end of their contract in the summer. And those who were signed on contract until the end of the season have nothing to play for if they are already realising the enormity of the situation. If, sorry, when we go down, they are free to leave and not have to have playing in the NL on their CV.

I agree. No motivation from Hurst. Dread to think what sort of team we'll have IF we drop to the NL.

I would add that Coke looks a really good player and is building a decent partnership with Matete.
He wins the ball a lot and uses it really well, he also wins lots headers. Shame he’s 34.
