Mind games

Dave Moore’s probably rubbing horse placenta into [insert injured starter]’s thighs as we speak.

Barrow and Southend at both at home on Saturday.

Southend play Bolton who are in great form right now having won three of the last four games.  Barrow play Morecambe who are eigth at the moment.

So if our game is off, and Barrow and Southend lose, then we start our 'turnaround' with two relatively easier games and in a slightly improved relative position (no games in hand for Barrow, and us having 2 games in hand over Southend but 3 points behind with a better goal diff). That's a psychologically stronger  position to begin what looks like a three horse race.

On the other hand if either Barrow or Southend win, then suddenly we are well adrift at the bottom.

Who knows?

I'd rather play the game and would be happy to get a point.

How can we have picked up so many injuries to first teamers? I know you pick up the occasional one in training but FFS. Very few of those who would potentially be in the first 11 played at Salford. Hope it is a bluff, but doubt it. Not really Hurst's style.
