What's the point in this thread? It's been verified by the publications it appeared in that it's a real offer written by the consortium. What are you trying to gain by undermining their credibility?

Have to agree that this is getting tiresome. Whether it’s fake news or not Fenty should accept the first offer as he describes in his midnight Christmas Eve release. He still gets his money back and we are rid of him.

If as you say he’s worth £55M it makes his penny pinching period in time of town even worse, just tell him to bloody go and make this a happy new year for all but a few real Grimsby supporters.

Why would anybody wish to close down a thread where the vast majority of people are nailing their colours to the mast that they think I the latest consortium offer is for real?

Most authentic new posters have the grace to introduce themselves - you know, a bit of background, why a Mariner etc, essentially some basic credentials for posting on a football club forum.
Or maybe, just maybe, you have an agenda rather than a genuine interest.
