Some one who knows this level. Hurst would be ideal.
And he'll be great in the Conference next season too

I never liked Hurst he never liked us but I would go for Hurst as can't see who else is available at this moment.
I got a lot of crosses when I mentioned Flitcroft last time.
Annoyed at Holloway giving players like Gibson a 3 year deal then quits leaves the new manager with a lot rubbish under contract.
Holloway's done a runner before being sacked under new owners.
All the Fenty haters I hope new potential ownership pleases you and hopefully we won't end up like Bury, which Fenty was like marmite with fans you kind of thought we won't end up like Bury.

The way it ended with Hurst I doubt he would come back. Left a sour taste between him the board and the fans. But you never know.
Would i have him back? Probably. He has been the most successful manager here since Buckley MkII.
I dont see lots of suitable alternatives. Alexander maybe? The Cowleys? again unlikely?
The big issue is the ownership though. That will dictate what happens.
Is a takeover imminent? How long will a change take ? Is Fenty still going to be around for a while yet? With regards to potential new ownership (which i presume we are reading as Shutes and co but nothing confirmed by the club yet) what £££ do they really have. Not only do they need to buy out Fenty they need to have much needed investment in the club it's facilities and of pressing importance the team itself.
We're not talking of the riches of a middle east consortium here. But the team needs a few quid throwing at it as as it stands we are staring at the non-league abyss.Simply not good enough. And to get a decent manager with some kind of proven track record (which we need) will also cost.
I have been critical of IH recently. It wasnt working. But i had hoped and really wanted him to turn it around. For the club and for himself. We all desperately wanted him to succeed.
The timing...the state we appear to be in...the uncertainty off the pitch....leaves me feeling very concerned indeed. I wonder if the club can survive another relegation from the Football League. Will we become another Stockport ...Darlington...Halifax....Bury....York...Rushden.......Kidderminster....Yeovil....etc

I wouldn't have Hurst back, personally.
Not saying he's not a good manager, but I think we need to look forward. And I'd like a manager who's not as one-dimensional as Hurst. We're struggling to score goals at the minute, would Hurst coming in solve that, by keeping us shape?
I know we won more than we lost under Hurst but let's not forget we were a big fish in a small pond back then and should've been beating the majority of clubs down there. I think its easier to feel "connected" to a team when its winning more often, and our position in the league pyramid meant we were always gonna win more than we lost until we got promoted again.
I don't know who I'd go for to be honest. Don't really know who's about without looking. But unless the takeover happens sharpish i worry who fenty will appoint, or how long we'll go without a manager.

I remember the hostility towards Buckley from some fans when he came back. Don’t remember too many complaints at Wembley 9 months later. Ultimately a successful manager will bring fans together. I’d back Hurst to keep us up and that’s got to be our priority. We’ve had 4 managers since he left with varying degrees of personality, style of play and tactical nouse but I’d put Hurst ahead of all of them in terms of overall quality.
