True though isn’t it...I guess we’ll never know of Slade first time round could’ve been a big success, one man to blame for that again.

Hurst created the last side town fans were connected to.

He won’t come back and who could blame him for saying ram it...

New owners, new ideas and some ideas moving forward...

'the poor and the needy are selfish and greedy'...well done Mozza

Big question will be who will be making the appointment and how quickly this can be put in place. New owners, with new new investment and a new project may be capable of attracting the Cowleys, especially as they still live here in Lincoln, but it’s unlikely the new owners will be doing this.

Alexander for me but if it’s purely about survival I would accept Hurst and try to agree a short term contract with massive bonus to keep us in L2 and allow time for sale to go through.

the Cowley brothers isn't impossible. out of work for 6 months, live locally, knows the level and the players.
the other possible plus is that they want to run the whole of the playing side.the holy trinity arent really football people, its the regeneration that interest them; so the cowleys running the football side might suit them down to the ground. would also be a real statement of intent for them coming in

How about get the new owners in ASAP as January is dead upon us, and that's very worrying!

Yep. We've got to get new owners in place, a new management team, and negotiate the transfer window. All in 5 weeks? And depending on the co-operation of a current owner who is notoriously difficult, will likely be seeing his own backside following an embarrassing resignation from his council position, not to mention the failure of this big plan we're now hearing so much about.

We are in serious trouble.
