Thought he did well yesterday.

Made a few decent stops and pretty good distribution with his feet.

Couldn't do anything other than take his man down for the pen, so unlucky to concede.

Think he'll start in sticks next game unless we manage to bring in a free agent before then.

Well our next two games are against Southend and Scunny if we dont get at least 4 points but got to be six.

We are going to need a big transfer window to put things right.

Russell should keep his place in both games.

Don't think he's conceded a goal from open play yet, has he?

How was his kicking better than Maccas? Two or three went straight out of play and one on Tuesday led straight to the free kick they scored from. Macca needs competition but not sure Russell is the answer.

Batch, Crombie, Moore K, Wiggington, Cumming, Waters, Bonnyman, Ford, Emson, Drinkell, Whymark. Love you all, You are the reason I'm on here. You've had help from Todd, Handyside, Futcher P, Groves, Mendonca, Macca etc etc etc. Up The Mariners!!!!!!!!!

He is not the answer Ollie has said that he is in to give Macca a break.

Maybe another keeper coming in January to give competition to Macca .

I think in IH's last interview on RH he was suggesting he may not now be bringing another keeper.

Forget the odd kick or two , did some miss or hit their target , was it better or worse than Macca....

ask yourself this, has the back four looked less jittery and more stable in the last 2 games ?  A good goalkeeper does more than stop shots , he organises the back four to prevent the shots coming in the first place.

I actually think Macca would have got to the ball and blocked the run and not given a penalty but the wider picture is more important.

Having watched the last couple of games, I think Russell has done ok but he hasn't really had a difficult save to make ( credit to the back 4 there too).If Macca had been in goal we certainly wouldn't have conceded more goals in those games, and quite possibly less.
