All the hard work the club did with Hurst I wasn't his biggest fan but we finally got promotion and that core team left.

And we ruined it the following season and we have never recovered or built a team since to challenge where Lincoln and Bristol Rovers kept there core team.

I think there are some positives to take from tonight. Owara Edwards again particular looked dangerous  going forward but his end product needs improving. For me Grimsbys best player. Montel Gibson I looked the look of as well. Very athletic looking player.

I think though Croft on the commentary summed it up best. To many players of the same ilk. To be fair I think all the players put the effort in though .

Its hard as well to make a proper analysis of the team without seeing them live. Watching them on the I follow is ok but isnt the same.

That's not true about any of our players in virtually any game this season. And therein lies the problem when you have a shaky defence as well.

If Jackson Jr and Sisay can't displace Gibson in the team then they must be garbage.

I suspect we'll see Sisay as often as we saw Jermaine Palmer.

Yes. I would love the likes of Siriki Dembele to be still here. In defence I wouldn't mind more of the type of  Sean Pearson back as well . Real warrior type of player for me.

I thought windsor improved things, but couldnt understand why he played so deep when he was supposed to be the centre forward

We take that long getting out of defence The opponents would have time to build the Siegfried line. No one running through the channels - just passes to a marked man with his back to goal - easy meat. Don't we practice anything besides picking the ball out of the net. Absolutely diabolical and getting diabolicer by the minute. Absolute disgrace.

I’m giving that a like just for the use of the word ‘diabolicer’.

Lost to top of the table by a deflection and a pen, had we anything up front to score goals it would have been a better result, having said that unless things change in the next four matches Ollie will go, on his own win, or pushed

Usain Bolt is a very athletic looking person , doesnt mean he is a good League 2 striker....Gibson really is useless with a football.

Edwards i am afraid has already dipped over the horizon for me....looked very exciting at first....but with each passing game i have got less and less excited to the point i no longer bother getting excited when he gets the ball, i now just try and predict at which point he will waste/lose possession, immediately...after the first man is beaten, maybe the second, maybe he will beat 3 men this time before knocking it for a throw in.
Zero end product.

Montel Gibson should be nowhere near pro football. And if Jackson Jr and Sissay arent gonna get a look in send them on their way too
