A win today and Colchester are firmly back in it and with their extra games mounting up would be very much up against it too. Got to do our bit today to make it count.

Now a point on Tuesday would be an excellent result for us and pile even more pressure on FGR and their dwindling number of games to catch us. In many ways today was probably more of a must win game for them than it was for us.

Surely Bradford Newport and Swindon at home are matches where points should be taken all three of these have already got there towels out for  the summer

I fancy Walsall to beat FGR on Saturday, and if we can beat Sutton that 9 point gap (or more if we get something on Tuesday) would be a truly difficult mountain for FGR to climb. So this time next week we might all be able to sleep a little easier. It’s all if’s and buts, but there is certainly a good opportunity for us this week.

A bit of a free hit really; anything better than a defeat takes us further away from the relegation zone. I’d take a point now. A smooth sea never made a skillful mariner.
