They could also be crossing as a show that the thread is about the most heartbreaking news and ticking it felt wrong. The red crosses could just be because it’s Yoda or his statement steering away from what is a condolence thread. They may have done it by accident as has been suggested. The point is we don’t really know unless one of them cares to explain.
