The disappointing thing for me is we’ve spunked FA Cup money on some of these players, and we’ve ended up with a group of players who are comfortably worse than last season’s, not only those we’ve paid fees for players who are worse than players we’ve released. Sad thing is the as the summer window dragged on there was clearly some names through the door who maybe weren’t the first names on the list. Either way Artell is going to have his work cut in the next couple of windows. I can’t see us going down this year, but it’s well and truly a right off.
