Rose 100%. Bogle was instrumental in our promotion but Rose for me is an all round player and a leader on and off the field.

I'll be pleased when Bogle retires and we don't use every excuse possible to bring his name up.

I - and we - have great sentimental memories of Bogle. In the period we had him he had the potential to go on and have a great career in the upper reaches of the EFL. Rose has been a more consistent player at our level for a good few seasons and has always been one of those players you hate to see play against you but would love to have in your team. If you look at it purely on the consistency having Rose over Bogle isn’t a difficult decision.

Rose every day of the week . He’s a model professional that leads from the front and scores some good goals

Bogle is still the mardy sulking fanny we all loved 😂

Rose is a model professional? I like him, but the man is a right shithouse.

Rose because he never stops whether it be in attack, midfield or defending. He gives 100% all the time.

Bogle played his part in our promotion and earned us a lot of cash when we sold him. When given the opportunity to return he declined. Rose came here when given the chance. Rose is the immediate future, Bogle is the past - I would pick Rose over Bogle 100%. I also think Rose is a better all round footballer anyway.

During Bogle’s first season in the EFL he was on fire and lashing them in from all over the place. There is no way that Rose has that in his locker.

However, the attributes Rose has are invaluable and his work rate is superb. We haven’t seen him sulk yet either, and I suspect we won’t.

For that magic dust - Bogle circa 2016.

For all-round attacking play - Rose.

For effort and maturity - Rose by a mile.

Not so sure.  I remember at least four posts on the summer transfer thread enquiring about the availability of Garry Birtles...

Bogle's Town record is absolutely incredible.  I don't think anyone has bettered it or will do for a long, long time (obviously over more than a few games).

35 goals and 15 assists in 77 games.  In terms of minutes played it's a goal contribution (goal or assist) every 111 minutes.

Padraig Amond (32 goals and 3 assists over 46 games) returns a contribution every 107 minutes.  All of those at Conference level.  Bogle played 6 of his 18 months here at League Two level.

Other notable strikers at that time/level...

Alan Connell - contribution every 173 minutes
Liam Hearn - contribution every 125 minutes
Tommy Wright - contribution every 1014 minutes.

Bogle must win the award for player with the lowest on pitch impact:fan appreciation ratio going.
