Another one out of the world of at times a pu***. Some of what you post is ok though and Iam not going to knock you completely.I would be interested to see  how you do with  some of the training military personnel have to go through. I sense  you would really struggle.

Thanks for the information Bear. What still gets me is when you read eyewitness accounts though of  what lads have had to go through out there especially soldiers and families dealing with the aftermath . Young men on patrol and then the next there not here no more after being blown up by an IED. Other soldiers who have known these lads then have to pick the mashed up body parts intermingled with sand and grit and put them in body bags which cuts them up some more than others . Compared to some of the jobs some do here eg office work and the like this is another level in terms of physical and emotional distress .

Yes, I can imagine the horror of going around picking up bits of your best mate, luckily I didn't have to do that in my Army career.

Of course there are some bad apples in the force as in all walks of life but generally I reckon they are to be admired . I certainly couldn’t do the job ( too bloody old now anyway ) but as a younger man I simply wouldn’t have had the patience to put up with some of the Sh1t that they face , I’d of ended up in court myself for beating the crap out of some scroat .

Someone once told me the best thing you can do in life is try to help others  and not constantly put them down .  A fair bit of sarcasm can go on here which I don't like to see. Were all dealing with s*** in life albeit some far more others and we all fall and make  mistakes along the way . Key is try to keep getting back up. Watching  soldier on the BBC I player  for one thought some of the instructors were really good. Tried to get the best out of young recruits in often very trying circumstances.Was delighted for some of the recruits that passed out especially the two young women . Of the 45 who applied only 27 made it through. Good on them 👊.
