I wonder how toxic this forum would if we were all Cheltenham fans. Played 11 games with one point on the board and a total of ZERO goals scored.

Don't know what the actual record is for going so many games on the trot without scoring but they must be getting close to it.

Think they equalled the record at 10 games? Well into record breaking now, every minute they currently play while goalless is setting a new record.
Not to put pressure on them, like.

Thought I remebered Hartlepool going about 15 games without scoring a few years back, might be wrong though.

You'd think the ball would bounce in off a defender's backside or something similarly ridiculous after that many games.

If we had gone on a similar run, there would be nothing left of the Fishy but a smoking server and dozens of posters left with PTSD.

Equalled the record with their last defeat, their 11th game

You're right, sort of, 11 games was set by Coventry City in 1919/20 and matched by Hartlepool United in 92/93

12th game up next though, eek.

Honest question - if regaining full fitness by January, would George Lloyd make a good signing to challenge the current forwards?

IMHO, he brought urgency and speed of movement up front, and scored enough goals to warrant making a move for him.

I think that he could dovetail well with those already here.

To be fair to them, they have scored one this season in the EFL Trophy…

An own goal that Bristol Rovers knocked in for them!
