Quite windy, as it invariably seems to be on matchday, and a bit of rain in the air. The sort of conditions that some teams don't fancy on a Tuesday night at BP, but I think Barrow are made of sterner stuff.

They have a very good defensive record and I think we will need to work hard to beat them, and above all, will need to take the chances when they come, as there may not be that many.

Expecting a tight game.

Decent side coming , Pete Wild seems a really good coach rated him at Halifax , won't be easy .

But Hurst normally get's a result and performance when required so I'm expecting a big one .

I have been a bit downbeat lately and can't go tonight but will pay the 10 quid for ifollows hoping we can get a win , I did say at the start of the season judge us after the second ten games and 3 points would be a good start .

Absolutely annoyed at myself. I booked to be an official tonight at a game without checking if town was playing. It'll be the first game I miss this season (admittedly most have been via my TV or PC screen)

It's the hope that kills you isn't it?

Straight after Saturday I didn't really feel too downbeat, I thought we would get tonked at Swindon so the actual result wasn't either a shock or a major disappointment.  Last 30 minutes we had a go and played some decent stuff.   By the time Monday came, probably aided by reading some of the doom and gloom on here, I convinced myself we're shitter than ever and had zero enthusiasm for the game.

This morning I was still the same, no desire to go and in some ways dreading it.  Rushing about tonight, sitting through a excrement game, then travelling home, getting to bed late, waking up tomorrow and feeling knackered...all of that stuff that feels worse when you're not playing well/winning games.

For some bizarre reason it got to about 3 this afternoon and I've got some enthusiasm for it all.  Excited by the prospect of 2 up front, Maher back in to settle the defence, Conteh refreshed by his enforced break.



One day I'll learn, but it isn't today.  C'mon Town!!!
