Wow. That is an absolutely vile and disgusting comment. I hope it is due to ignorance on your part and upon reflection you’ll realise how appalling it is.

Or do you think anything to that happens to her from this point on at his hands is her fault?

You do understand there are over 1.5m domestic violence related incidents recorded by police forces in the UK each year. If it was so simple for abuse victims to escape from abusive partners that wouldn’t be the case would it?

The toll on the mental health of the victims must be indescribable. Abusers isolate their victims. Stop them seeing their friends and family. Make them totally dependent on them for everything. They control their finances. They control where the victim can and can’t go. What they can and can’t wear. And the victim has no say in all the things that in a normal healthy relationship are agreed between 2 equal people (like when they have sex).

For you to throw some blame on to a victim who, unsurprisingly given what appears to have happened to her and how it has been played out in public, isn’t strong enough to break the cycle of abuse is quite frankly despicable.

Domestic abuse victims aren’t fixed when the cuts and bruises are all healed.

1 in 4 women in the UK have been the victims of domestic abuse.

Get over yourself. She’s stayed with him, having his kid, SHE dropped the charges, we all know what he did, SHE knows what he did, and SHE has chosen not to pursue justice.

Played out in public? She put the images out there in the first place for the world to see. i was the first to commend her bravery when she did that, but you are living in cuckoo land if you think her actions are anything but cowardly. She has not allowed him to be prosecuted, because of her choosing to stay with him, and the life he can give her, over the course of justice, and that is a stab in the eye for all victims of domestic violence.

Once again you’ve gone off on one as you always do, not understanding any of what others say, and you thinking your way is the only way with your long condescending crap

Easy to say this sat at home and not being the victim of domestic abuse. The hold that the abuser has over them lasts for years and they feel unable to live without them because they've been told that they can't and had their life controlled by them. She spoke out which takes bravery. It would be great if all of these events ended in prosecution, but a lot of people that speak out later withdraw their statements out of fear. It is incredibly difficult to escape that kind of situation.

She may have done it for money, I'm sure deep down she loves him. Whatever has happened, it isn't her fault.

Sensitive subject I know but I do hope to Christ you don’t work with DV/DA victims…if only it was as black and white as you describe…

I don’t. But I stand by my points which I know many wont agree with. Doesn’t make me wrong, doesnt make me right, there will be some that agree and some that disagree.

I’m no stranger to what situations do to the mind, by god I’ve had issues myself with my own mental state, I admired her courage in the first instance, but you need only read the case notes, the very next day after the inital arrest the charges were asked to be dropped and she would not co-operate, they lived together and continued seeing each other.

Just my opinion

Then my only advice would be to go and read the research and case notes of many a DV/DA case and educate yourself on the intricacies of such matters because anyone that does or has worked with victims saw this coming.

The only one that needs a finger pointing at them is Greenwood, to a lesser degree, her dad, who’s comments throughout have been bizarre…if there’s anyone that wanted and took the money, it was him.

Triple down on the moronic comments. Plenty of evidence and research that goes against what you're saying.
