Yes far more sustainable on a local level, unfortunately it doesn’t feed the world though - humanity isn’t just hooked on carbon it’s hooked on nitrogen as well; the artificial fertiliser isn’t just a high carbon intensity product to manufacture, there massive environmental impacts from it as well.

Anyway, when did sustainability get you 3 points…etc

Luckily, 70-odd percent of the atmosphere is nitrogen so we're not going to run sort of the stuff. It will just take energy to extract it for use.
