So, as anyone contacted Eastern Airways regarding chartering a flight from Humberside?

Given the match is the 5th round of the cup, which we haven't been in for years, I would have thought the club or supporters' Trust should look into this.

Yep.

Best they can do is 68 seater and, as the airport is shut after the match, you’d have to sort accommodation out down there and come back in the morning.

Didn’t get a price but there’s a request form on the website if anyone’s interested and they got back to me in about half an hour.

So I presume someone asked if the airport could be kept open a little later. I’m sure it used to be, if the Amsterdam flight was running late.
