We look like a team searching for its best eleven at the moment. Not sure what it is but neither I think does Hurst. Khan a bright spark, JMD decent but both faded midway through the second half. For a home team we didn't work there keeper anywhere near enough.

Struggling to know what to say to that really. I didnt feel like taylor worked well in that set up tonight. I think Hurst has to continue being brave with selections despite tonights result to try and find a winning formula as I just dont think anyone can be
a mcatee in the previous way of playing

I’m surprised Hursty hasn’t opted to take Efete out the firing line after it has been plainly obvious last few games the lad is very low on confidence and has stopped doing the things that made him a good attacking outlet.

Yes Cropper is out but an option could be shifting Smith to full back and moving Maher into his spot giving Efete some time to rest and regain some confidence in his undoubted ability.

Efete has been dreadful but I’ve seen Smith play RB and I never want to see it again

We have plenty of talent in this squad, PH will soon understand what his best 11 is and injuries permitting then he needs to give them a run of hand a dozen games and stick with them, all will be well.

Unfortunately, our best 11 includes one, if not two, who are long term injured.
