Will be interesting to see if his disastrous spell at Blundell Park will be mentioned at all. If he writes about it, I guess he will have his own spin on the story. We will see when we read it in the bookstore, library or if it is available for download for free. There is no way I am buying it until he writes a cheque for a 100 K to Grimsby Town Football Club.

I imagine he’ll get everyone excited with a brief outline and then fahck off before the real work starts.

To be fair it's hard to remember and find but a thread was posted on here a couple of weeks ago on the same subject.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

I'd quite like to read this, but I absolutely won't send a penny in his direction. Might buy a copy from a charity shop after Christmas.

No need to apologise mate, just thought it would add to the replies on the subject.

I'm curious to know what he has to say about his time here if he hasn't conveniently forgotten about it but he won't be getting any royalties from me.

I'd love to see any lies of his challenged and also a take on events from others involved at the time. I imagine the stories from people like Limbrick, McKeown, Ohman and Waterfall would be very interesting but as people still involved in the game, they have too much to lose speaking out. And that is how the Runaway lie continues to be considered as the truth far and wide.
