Fishy Pontoon Buster

Due to Covid related issues and, at the time of typing, 26 games already off, and more than likely more to be by kick-off time, I have taken the decision to suspend the Pontoon Buster for now. This will make it a lot fairer to all as too many teams will be scoring default 2's tomorrow.

We will obviously wait and see how next week is affected and then I will make a decision as to if we can restart again next week.

I hope this meets with alls approval.

7 Boxing Day games off already and no doubt more will follow.

I'll keep a close eye on things and make a decision one way or another on Thursday/Friday whether to restart the buster this week.

I could actually do with a break over Christmas so if I have to cancel it again it won't be too bad.

Not going to do that mate. The game will finish, even if we have to pause it for a few weeks.

12 games already off on Boxing Day now, so what I propose to do is take a break from The Fishy Buster at the minute and restart it with games played on Friday 14th of January. I was going to restart it the week earlier but that's an FA Cup week and there will be a number of lower league teams without a game that week.

I hope that meets with the approval of all and I'm sorry that I have had to take this step, but in order to be fair to people I feel that this is the right decision to make.

Just want to wish all a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy Prosperous New Year.

We'll restart again (hopefully) on the 14th of Jan.

Just realised that the Premiership is having a 2 week "Winter Break" now (apart from 1 game a week on Saturday). I'm not going to postpone the game for 2 weeks again but just award the Prem teams  default 2 for the next 2 weekends. It won't result in a Prem team winning the game by default anyway.

Just realised that the 5th of Feb is FA Cup day so most Prem teams will be playing in that so it's only this weekend where there are no Prem teams playing.
