As I've said before, Lincoln won the league with Fatty Rhead leading the line and he didn't score that many.

Taylor is better than him and equally as experienced, but I still think we need another option up there.

Having only two recognized strikers is risky.

Do we actually need a striker still? New player coming in, changing the set up of the team. We're doing fine as it is at the minute and a new player could well upset the momentum.

What’s this obsession with scraping by on what we have? If Taylor or McAtee get injured we’re a completely different team.

We were probably doing fine at the back but then Towler came in and he looks a step above anyone on the pitch. It’s not sacrilege to say that we may benefit from having another option up top, especially someone with a bit of pace.

I think the way we play, we need a target man up there. The biggest concern is losing McAtee but I don't think someone like him will be available, especially as backup.

It would be good if we could get a young player in on loan with a bit of a presence who can learn from Taylor.

Who's obsessing over anything?

I'm just playing Devil's Advocate and asking the question? Maybe a young loanee like Hunt or Towler could come in to provide cover rather than us signing a "hairs on the neck" striker. (If there are any out there still).

Sousa's run in the second half is class, would have been an unreal goal if he'd have put the shot in.

Bapaga won 2 pens and scored. His work is not always appreciated.

Good to see Taylor encouraging the players.  Good leadership.

Was a great run that, he just lacked that bit of composure in front of goal. He could have probably taken another couple of touches and made the angle a bit more favourable, but the skill in getting there in the first place was fantastic.

Bapaga really grew into the game on Saturday. You could see his confidence increasing as the game went on. He is so one footed that I think it benefitted him playing on the right instead but I also think having Sears behind him helped as Efete is a lot more attack minded.

Bapaga was taking a lot of instruction from the bench during the game. That's not a criticism at all and fully expected - just an observation. It was good to see and also to see that he responded to it.

Not necessarily you, but there’s a fairly sizeable group of town fans - mainly on Twitter - that seem to take the píss anytime we score or have a shot suggesting that all our woes are over and nothing could ever possibly get better, or worse for that matter.

Probably down to a lack of knowledge and imagination, which we’re all guilty of, when it comes to available players. Christ knows I’ve spent too much time working out how Bogle might end up back here.
