With Max Wright potentially looking like having a stop start season, given his ability to impact from bench then we could do with a similar style replacement IMO, quick, direct style player.

We have had a good start so far and with numerous scorers its healthy but we cant rest on our laurels and maybe find ourselves in the middle of a dry patch , losing points whilst we then decide we really need one.


Agree, cover in a wide position. We have arguably 3 who can play through the middle. Taylor, Lenny and McAtee.

Charles Hagan U23 squad at Wednesday like Alex Hunt. Starred in a preseason game at Alfreton in July getting an 8/10 where Alex got 6/10. Fast, direct and strong.

This poster has a lot of crosses because they are not a happy sheet. The post is correct we need a striker who will be the difference in these tight games. This is a tough tough league or have we forgotten about those six years last time round.
