Disappointing that. We looked drained to be honest. Gave away the ball loads didn’t we.

So frustrating to go 6 unbeaten but still be in this position

Thats the problem when its 3 points for a win, consistently drawing games doesnt really get you anywhere.

I’ll support PH for now, as I think he’s trying to build a foundation to move forward from, whatever league we are in, but he doesn’t do himself any favours waiting until 70+ minutes to make changes when we looked so lethargic and short of ideas in the second half today.  You have to give players 30 mins to effect the game surely?

Changing players or formations doesn't really change your fortunes when most of your squad are mediocre and much of a muchness. We lack quality. Plenty of effort but....

On today's and recent performances I wouldn't want any of that squad next season no matter what league we are in.

Let’s take the positives. Point gained and another game undefeated.

Six games, one win 5 draws = 8 points

Six games, three wins three defeats  = 9 points.

That’s the problem.

Didnt agree with Crofty - We were camped in their half for the last 45mins.
We were better than at barrow, final ball was unbelievably bad though!
Same all season whoever plays. Keeper didn't have a save to make all half
As soon as we got near the penalty box it went to excrement. So annoying. They do all the hard work and then blow it
Loved the little run from Williams, beat a few men, lays it to Payne and it goes out for a goal kick
They've got to win that game. By 2or3 goals

I don't think that's true however the longer the game went on the more they defended as they knew a point would be a good result for them.

But in the end it doesn't matter how much time we spent in there half we couldn't muster a shot on target.

Two points dropped for me after getting the more or less perfect start

Don't know what the conditions were like out there but our passing, especially in the second half, was woeful

On the plus side, another game undefeated - if we do that for the next nine games we might just be in with a shout of avoiding the drop

Every game that goes by though, our position looks more and more perilous

UTM

Sadly, remaining undefeated wont necessarily keep us up, we need to win games.

9 more points would only get 3 more than Barrow and 2 more than Colchester if they lost all their remaining games.

You don’t have to change much if your ‘best’ most effective players are on from the start. Williams came on beat 3 of theirs in the box, the only time that happened in the whole game. Our ‘free’ kicks, crosses were woeful, looked tired. Our ‘front’ 3 predictable, no shape, we need energy, but more importantly ball at the feet to make things happen
When Rose came on, knew a point at best

Slightly unfair on Rose, he was far more effective than Coke who was truly woeful today. We really need some flair in midfield whether that’s Williams, Bennett or Scannell. All three have done it at a higher level and surely there’s some professional pride in one or other of them.

Actually, at HT the stats showed that we had 3 shots on target.
