The end.

I've never seen so many shattered fans on this board.

Just seen the goals again.    Looked to me that Matt hit the floor.   Hard to tell because i couldn't slow it down.  In any case has to be a foul on Eastwood. Second goal was offside. Was he interfering with play?  He's 4 yards from the keeper. In my opinion that has to be interfering.

Of all people, how have you picked Rose to dig at, who has been very good lately?

Look at the man not playing him, who put 2 left backs on the pitch when we looked to be on top.

Hardly made himself undroppable. I'm thinking Scannell, Williams, Green, Waterfall too, not just Rose. Rose was just the example.

Bunney has played left wing plenty.

Agree. How anyone can accuse Hurst of being "negative" I don't know. He came out with the 4-4-2 many were clamouring for, ended the match with three out-and-out strikers on the pitch, plus another who has played a good portion of his career up front. We were beaten by a very good team - their second goal was genuine quality.

I wanted 442 and thought it worked well in the first half.
Then he brings on bunny not Adams.
Goes three up front at the death.
We were stagnant in the second half but Hurst did nothing to try and change that.

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

For me - don’t understand why Adams disappeared to bench after his success against Crawley.
If he’s injured - then maybe mind games to opposition having him as a sub
Otherwise - no brainer to play him.

You must have seen a different match to me. Forgot to mention the 12th man the ref. Lucky pen and a half decent shot. Defender comes on for midfieder, Green who hasn't played in 1st team for ages. FGR are where they are but not a colossal difference between them and us.

The main difference between them and us is they have Mark Cooper and we have Hurst. Hurst tactics started good and then lost his head to the fairies. He has to go

We lost, at home, with 1 shot on target, hardly positive attacking football!!.

I'm struggling to find something positive Northbank, I agree with you.

Need wins, gamble, go for it.  Use Lamy and Wright (when fit - well if).  2 big strikers, get it wide.  Cross. Use 4 or 5 subs.  At least give the opposition something different to not think about.

Hope for the best.  Clifton (when fit) in as he is limited but works hard.

We are scaping the barrel but at least we have a barrel to scrape.

The number of straws left in the jar to clutch is rapidly reducing.

According to James in GT Lamy was injured

Same here why Bunny and not Adams. FGR were pretty sh1ite and without the dodgy ref wouldn't have even scored, but we were absolutely useless 2nd half and it took till 82 mins for Hurst to change anything.
Good points, Matete, the back 4 looked decent as it was, Hanson and LJL better than any of the other strikers we've tried.
Negatives too many again can 't even be @rsed to bother listing them.
