Must agree with the Exeter City manager Matt Taylor here that this sets a very dangerous precedence for teams struggling on a certain surface to now be able to move elsewhere.

So to make things even then all Newport's fixtures must be null and void, and games replayed. In my dreams, rules for one and rules for others

I didn’t see anyone object to Harrogate playing their opening home fixtures at Doncaster whilst their 4G pitch was torn up and a grass pitch was laid.

I would however hope that Newport County are made to compensate clubs for the extra mileage in travel they now face. It’s only a further 20 miles or so each way down the M4 but coach companies will charge those extra miles to the away club.
