Having suffered watching the match yesterday, Flog It came on in place of the advertised film
and it was almost a short documentary about Grimsby. It showed us in a good light and talked about the war and the damage and we also met Brenda Fisher.

Apparently Brenda was married to an ex Town player and when she returned from her channel swim, 60,000 people turned out to see her.

Sadly I haven't been able to find a link, but it was very watchable.

I think that would make fantastic viewing. For the rest of the country.

Imagine what a cult anti-hero he’d become. Like a latter-day David Brent.

Absolutley 100% what i had in my head.

Just don't put Holloway in front of the cameras, he'll never shut up!

If you have Sky, search for Flog It, look for the episodes on HGTV, and the it's on season 15

Kirky sent me this video by email, adding: "This may not be it, but it's a cracking piece of documentary that every Grimbarian - actual or adopted - should watch."

I watched the "Bury: Bringing Football Back" documentary on BBC1 last night, very good I felt for the fans.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

I agree with Kirky’s assessment. Had a lump in my throat. What a lovely, modest woman. It got me when she recalled being given a big bunch of flowers.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.
