If the club wants to make money from I follow it's website needs to improve dramatically and sharpish. It's really poor with broken links, wrong instructions and the matches not easy to find which defies belief. So poor but predictable.

Harrogate started well. We look a side who dont know each other. Which is fair. Really young side. With Russell Ohman and Hewitt the exceptions

Yep, looks excellent and a big old unit too. He doesn’t have the frame of your typical 18 year old. Joey Hope at left back looks neat too.

A lack of composure at times and some rawness you’d expect from this line-up, but some promising signs too. Gibson looks like an impressive athlete who could do alright for us with the right coaching.

1-0 Gibson pen. Won well by Edwards who’s looked a little bit edgy with a slightly untidy first touch but did his man nicely there.

Gibson nearly scored a minute earlier with a strike from 35 yards. Would have been a fantastic goal if the keeper hadn’t tipped it over the bar. Like the look of him.

Town coming into the game we’ll after an understandably shaky start.

Watching cos I got a season pass. Some good stuff after a dodgy start.
Ohman and Idehan very good. Clifton solid and his usual self. Edwards looks decent. Great to see so much youth out there too. Starbuck only one that looks short so far. Harrogate a big boot special team hoofing it up to Stead who Ohman has bossed.

Batch, Crombie, Moore K, Wiggington, Cumming, Waters, Bonnyman, Ford, Emson, Drinkell, Whymark. Love you all, You are the reason I'm on here. You've had help from Todd, Handyside, Futcher P, Groves, Mendonca, Macca etc etc etc. Up The Mariners!!!!!!!!!

Town look much better after a change of shape. Edwards and Gibson have looked fairly lively. Pretty decent showing from our young first year professionals. Spokes has been a little anonymous in my opinion. UTM!

Is that a season pass to WATCH all games, or is it only audio available when/if fans are allowed back?

And either way, how much did it cost?

To be fair to them they've created a couple of decent chances second-half.

I’ll be honest, I’ve not got a clue, it just comes out of my US bank. Paid monthly last year and doing the same. I think it’s about $20 and you get video for all games. I’m back in Lincs now and it’s still working so I’ll go for that.

Ohman in a nutshell, having a relatively solid game ,  clumsy yellow and a penalty concede out of nowhere

I’m not sure at which point the lino thought that had gone in? Can only be when Russell makes the save but he’s stood in front of the line.

Awful decision. Fortunately in a competition that doesn’t matter, but hard on the young lads who’ve done so well tonight.

Well I enjoyed that and I feel sorry for those who couldnt get pass there moral dilemma to watch the youngsters give it there all. Some of them couldnt hardly walk at the end. Some really encouraging performances, history made not only with a debut but a screamer to the top corner to boot. Worth every penny that.

Managed to watch most of the 2nd half and I thought the young lads did well.

We have some promising players coming through.

Five well taken pens and a big moment for Boyd 15 years old and scored on his debut.

Was a good game for the young lads, hopefully they learned a lot from it that they'll take with them as they develop. Made up for the lad who got a good goal on his senior debut.Thought they played well against a first team outfit that came to play.

Well I paid, watched it and thoroughly enjoyed it, more so than Saturday to be honest ..some proper bright sparks out there tonight, Edwards looks really tricky but I have to give a shout out to Montel Gibson, 40 years screamer, good penalty and almost netted a nice free kick.

Although I hate and dispise this competition give me a good chance to see some of the younger lads and new players. Considering most of our first team was rested I'm very pleased and pleasent the way the future is going. Let's give the lads a few games to gel and not get on their back. Im so happy for the young lad getting a goal on his debut bet he won't sleep tonight - the stuff dreams are made of.

Enjoyed that, some real prospects there, Non of the youths looked much out of place against a fairly big proper first team with Idehan really impressive at the back, Ludvig the usual great one min, does something silly the next, The futures bright for black & white.
Seemed a competent ref and can see why he sent Evan off.
Really didn't think the ball was over the line for the equaliser, non of their players really tried to claim it as a goal and carried on to the point when the ref for some unknown reason allowed a myopic bloke with a flag make up a story, when he blew the whistle I assumed it was for pushing in the box not a goal.

Thought Idehen was very, very good.
Hope showed enough to think he has potential to make it. Its just for him (and Starbuck) the 352 we started with was leaving them exposed and outnumbered at wing back. Going 442 gave the young lads more support around them and a formation that they're more familiar with and they improved straight away after that change on 25minutes.

That switch also gave Gibson more support and he looked more lively. Hit a wonderful 35 yard shot that was tipped over the bar for the corner from which we won the penalty.

Owura Edwards is gonna be some player for us this season. He can twist & turn and beat players for fun. Good pace too, even over a longer distance, not just a 5 yard burst like Dembele had.

Boyd will get a lot of headlines, and rightly so.

But that was some goal, the switch across field, not sure who that was!, the touch and lay off back to Boyd from Edwards, and then Boyd skips past the tackle and scores a worldie.

A great team goal as well

Just watched it on the highlights, fantastic goal. Starbuck with an interception first touch pass to Gibson. 1 touch then great ball across field to Edwards. First touch layoff to Boyd who takes it past the committed defender, puts it on his left foot and lovely strike. Keeper's positioning didn't look great.

Their goal looks a lot closer than I thought too. When the ball is struck, Russell is on his line and stepping backwards. Seems to hit him around the gonads as he's squatting. Don't think I could say either way for sure, but the linesman was best placed to see.

Thought the system definitely exposed young Hope and Starbuck in the early stages.  Very bold to expect two young lads to play as wingbacks against a side with an embedded 4-4-2 and attacking full-backs.  Hope especially was singled out by Harrogate but he adapted well and put in a solid display.

Idehen was quality at the back.  Mentioned before he reminds me of Simon Ford (when he first broke through, not when he went backwards or when he returned in his second spell to barely feature).  Last season when I saw him in the reserves he was excellent one minute and then all over the place next, last night he looked to have ironed that side of his game out.  Just consistently solid and didn't the experienced Harrogate attack an inch.  Very encouraging.

Really liked the look of both Taylor and Spokes in midfield.  I like the fact that we're bringing in lads with a bit of a physical presence about them too.  We won more headers in midfield last night than we have for a long time.  Both look like they can play a bit too.

Up top both Gibson and Edwards are going to cause problems because they're unpredictable.  At times it was like having Darren Mansaram partnering Darren Mansaram up there.  Sometimes the ball stuck and they were able to turn and run at teams, sometimes they would pull of a great piece of skill, sometimes they would fall over their own feet.  I think it's important to remember how raw a lot of our attacking options are, but the one we thing we've got now is three things that defenders at any level hate; pace, power and movement.

Very, very encouraging.
