Nice touch to acknowledge the sterling fundraising effort from the supporters.

What gets me is the future of our club is probably in jeopardy over the £1 million loss in revenue we will incure due to Coronavirus and yet Man Utd are allegedly close to signing Jadon Sancho for a fee of £108 million with Sancho allegedly earning £65 million over the next five years, stinks.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Not even in the top three when it comes to the premier league.

1. David De Gea (Man Utd) - £375,000
2. Kevin De Bruyne (Man City) - £320,833
3. Raheem Sterling (Man City) - £300,000
4. Paul Pogba (Man Utd) - £290,000
5. Mesut Ozil (Arsenal) - £268,750

Meanwhile at Arsenal:

Around £4 million for Saturdays Fa Cup victory.

I hope the omission was down to GT reporting. It amazes me that some clubs are signing so many players now given the uncertainty regards future income.

I know he's on loan at Inter and not actually playing but isn't Sanchez on £500,000 ?

Around £560000 per week.
He's moving to Inter on a permanent deal which will pay around £130000 after tax.

Those are the clubs that like gambling with the future of their club, and will just go into administration, and probably not for the first time.
I would rather get through this period, if that means reducing the budget, so be.
Spending big does not guarnatee promotion.
I am sure that we will be competitive next season, whether we can challenge towards to the top, we will have to wait and see.
I have noticed that in some quaters, people moaning that Mr Holloway missed out to a potential signing to Hamilton.
The chance to play against Celtic, Rangers, Aberdeen or Forest Green, Salford, Macclesfield, which club would you pick?
Also Hamilton have paid a undisclosed fee for the striker.
I take the positive from this, that we were in for a young up and coming striker and was prepared to pay a fee for a player.

Looking forward to getting back to BP to watch the Mighty Mariners soon.

Government should put an extra 10% VAT/TAX on transfers over 1,000,000 and distribute it to the lower leagues.

Whilst I despise the gap in professional football, if ever a player deserved to be a top earner, it’s De Bruyne. An amazing player, with sterling not far behind too. However, those other 3 are charlatans.
