Back in the day, had to get to the ground early to get my place behind the goal in the Pontoon, with programme, borvil and pie in hand.

Not if you leant against a railing above one of the walkways below!   , but yes, you needed to be in by 2pm

Plus whenever Town were attacking The Pontoon end everyone would surge forward and you'd end up standing in a totally different place anyway.

I missed those days, first season was first season all seating 😔

Would love to see some of that safe seating behind goal, hopefully at new ground if it happens
