• Reduced price half season tickets released
 • Ollie "meet the fans" night for a tenner
 • Reduced commercial tables for 10 (£500) for first home game
 • Pushing sales in clup shop for away games

Great to see the club being nimble and responding for the increased enthusiasm Ollie is bringing! What else could they do to capitalise on this?

I honestly do wonder if the staff are thinking...FFS ....until he came along we could sit here, drink tea and biscuits and wait for custom to come to us.....in less than a week he has walked in and probably thought FFS i wont get my investment back anytime soon with the lack of commercial enterprise and nouse on show, i better teach them how to suck an egg.

Turf the cars out of the car park at the front of the Findus and make it a mini fan park before games.

I've ordered a Peaky Blinders one on ebay this morning and my wife is going to sow a club badge from an old top that was worse for wear on it.

Yes - kiosks selling ale, cider and Guinness, hog roast and one selling haddock and chips, something for the kids and Orphan Boy playing live before and after...

Probably can't fit all that in but a fan park must be part of any new stadium plan - going to the game needs to be alot more than 90 mins to generate extra value from the stadium...

Don’t forget the big screen, agree pre match could start a lot earlier in a new location

All sounds good and positive. Well done all concerned.

Back in the day, had to get to the ground early to get my place behind the goal in the Pontoon, with programme, borvil and pie in hand.

And then 5 minutes before kick-off some 7 foot tall giant would stand just in front of you!

Better when you kept winning the competition for match tickets and grub in the inn at the park.

Plus whenever Town were attacking The Pontoon end everyone would surge forward and you'd end up standing in a totally different place anyway.

I missed those days, first season was first season all seating 😔

Would love to see some of that safe seating behind goal, hopefully at new ground if it happens

We need "die schwarz-weiße Ponton" terrace behind one end - our version of the Borussia Dortmund terrace, which holds 24k and is awesome. On reflection maybe 24k at one end is a little over ambitious...

We do need safe terracing at one end though, perhaps 4k capacity rather than 24k. Make the away fans sit down in silence at the other end.

Town can't introduce safe standing, or any standing, until the law changes. All the club's in the second tier at the time a particular law was passed are required to be all seating and that includes us. Even if we were relegated down to regional part time football. Bizarre.

I'd assumed Town could install safe standing because Celtic have https://www.fercoseating.com/projects/all/celtic-fc/ and also Shrewsbury. Ridiculous if some bureacratic impediment stops this.

It's imperative I'd say. Gotta quickly fortify a new place as a hostile cauldron of noise.
