Hi all

For those looking to travel by train to orient on Saturday, there are engineering works after Peterborough so you will be travelling via Cambridge and it will put an extra hour on your journey.

On the way back most of the trains are worse and it will be an extra hour and a half.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but thought I would let you know to help plan journeys.

If anyone is driving A1, across to the M11 via the A14 then park at Westfield Stratford (tons of parking) 1 stop on the Central Line to Leyton. West Ham are away Friday night so shouldn’t be busy around there.

Be aware of the new A1/A14 junction (following the years of new road building)
It’s a few miles further south down the A1, and “A14 East” / Cambridge is well signed but is a bit complicated so keep your wits about you

Thanks fella, saved me some grief as I hadn't noticed.
Supposed to get in Kings Cross before 9am but it's now nearer 12.30pm after the best part of 4 hours, same going home.
Might swerve it now but drunk off as looking forward.
They always say it's for improvements to the service and for our benefit, balderdash.
Another month and I come back from Hamburg on a Sunday with the same excrement.
From leaving the hotel, crossing the second largest city in Germany , to landing at Heathrow is four hours.
London to Scunthorpe seven hours.
This country is copulated.

Driven a couple of times and always managed to park near the ground...permit parking is generally Monday to Friday. Was like two blocks away last time...

Might be worth looking to go via Sheffield (or Nottingham)  into St. Pancras.

Just checked, it's possible but still a very long journey (long waits between trains) and a dash back to station after game. So not rely an option.
