Great pace, movement, passing, fitness levels, confidence, intelligence We are L2 and very hard to keep clearing ball and not expect for it to come back Gulf in class is massive these days FFS - get real!

The fitness levels were worlds apart, it seemed  Chelsea had two men in every position where we had one. As a town fan it was a bit shite to watch but as a football fan you have to sit back and admire the football that they played.

Unfortuneately 90 mins of hard work and endeavour not enough against prem league players, whereas in league 2 thats going to get you points. Exeter next lets hope we're smarting from tonight and ready to show the world what we're really capable of.

Most of them, probably. Not a good result, but it wasn't exactly a settled defence so perhaps not too surprising we apparently let some soft goals in. For comparison, I went to the game at Hillsborough where we lost 7-1 and the gulf in league placings between those two teams wasn't nearly as large. Or, on the other hand, 6 of their goals came from experienced full internationals with the other coming from a youngster who is in the England Under-20s. How many international caps in our team, again?
