First record I ever bought back in the days when Rumbelows existed.
Do you remember Rayners on Freeman Street selling records too. Got quite a few from the 10p box they used to have. Also Gough & Davy in Victoria Street.

Having spent a few inane hours at the wheel this morning I'm going for
Max Wright, Max Wright, Max Wright, Max Wright, I really love you down the right That's neat etc, I really love your speedy feet.
However, should the masses embrace this I don't want to be held responsible for any injuries incurred should the song lead to older people 'dad-dancing'
I like it, its catchy. transformed into Max Wright, Max Wright, Max Wright, Max Wright I really love you tiger down light the rightThat's neat, that's neat, that's neat, that's neat, I really love your tiger speedy feet I really love your tiger speedy feet your tiger speedy feet your tiger speedy feet your tiger speedy feet Well alrightdynamite

Both, loved Rayners used to go there to look at the sleeves of the LPs I couldn't afford to buy as a kid. Gough & Davy I remember for getting my first school recorder. We used to have some proper shops in them days.

You know you're getting old when you start talking like a Hovis advert.

| Through the door there came familiar laughter, I saw your face and heard you call my name. Oh my friend we're older but no wiser, For in our hearts the dreams are still the same. |
