Anybody else (of a certain age) think that we should create a song for Max Wright to the tune of Muds Tiger Feet?

Do we have to do that dance as well?

Hands on hips, sway to the right x 4, sway to the left x 4.

Sway my @rse. That was for the girls.
A full on shoulder movement with hands slightly tucked in pockets for the real cool dudes.

Well so my older mates tell me.   😞

Originality, I like it.

Makes a change from copying everyone else’s bloody chants.

Agreed, I do too.

But until it's been on @fanbantz it's a no go from the masses ;)

The old Win Away song to the Lion Sleeps Tonight tune could be revived with the high pitched bit done as Ogbuuu-uuuuuuuuu-uu win away

No? I’ll get me safari jacket. ☹️

Oi...you've missed out a "Max Wright", mate!

Good call though. Struggling to think of a "I really love your <?>".

He explodes like dynamite (sung after he scores) ?

Having spent a few inane hours at the wheel this morning I'm going for

Max Wright, Max Wright,  Max Wright, Max Wright, I really love you down the right
That's neat etc, I really love your speedy feet.

However, should the masses embrace this I don't want to be held responsible for any injuries incurred should the song lead to older people 'dad-dancing'

Do you remember Rayners on Freeman Street  selling records too. Got quite a few from the 10p box they used to have.  :)

Also Gough & Davy in Victoria Street.

Both, loved Rayners used to go there to look at the sleeves of the LPs I couldn't afford to buy as a kid. Gough & Davy I remember for getting my first school recorder. We used to have some proper shops in them days.
