Unless you support the regime ....... nothing will ever change if all you do is talk about it . Act on it and change will happen ... Stop being a sheep and force change if you want it ?

How on Earth will that help matters?! We should be convincing Fenty to give Jolley the budget he deserves......a substantial one.

I don't support the regime, I do support the club. The club will still be here long after the current regime (hopefully sooner rather than later) depart and, hopefully, so will I.

I’ll be buying my season ticket as usual for next season.
I always have and I guess I always will.
Grimsby Town are my home town club and I’ll support them through thick and thin, good and bad.
I, like everybody else, hope they improve next season.
But regardless of their fortunes, I’ll still be there.

You are absolutely right. Stop supporting GTFC and move your allegiance to Grimsby Borough. Just let GTFC die and as long as we have another football club in Grimsby then that's ok. All that ST money and other income could elevate the Borough and who knows , maybe in 15 years time we may have another professional football club in Grimsby providing , of course , nobody presently connected with the club is involved.

It`s been alledged that the team with the 9th best average home gate (GTFC) only have the 17th best budget .

I have no idea if that`s actually true but surmising it is then how can it be?

Well it could be down to someone taking back a chunk of a loan perhaps ?

It could be down to money need to maintain the current ground?

Well if it`s any of the above buying a season ticket will ensure this can continue. Of course we have always bought Season tickets to boost the Manager`s war chest and that`s the main point in getting one . Now however if it`s a green light for somebody else to decide where a good chunk of that`s going aside from the budget is the buying of a season ticket really relevent?

The fans have been steadfast in previous seasons in relation to ST sales but I expect to see quite a drop unless we see a major change announced within a couple of weeks. We are in need of a massive injection of enthusiasm and change of direction because if not make mistake we are conference bound.

Those with new grounds get a lot more non-football income than us. Even those with their original grounds might have more ways to earn money other than match day attendances. If you turn the question around what could we be doing to bring in more non-football income than we currently do?

You know my views mate GTFC have 7k seats to sell and if they did what they should off the pitch the gates would easily have another 1500 on them from home supporters.

I'm going to see what business we do in the summer before I decide whether to renew my season ticket or just cherry pick my games.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

We're getting some different floodlights in..... does that count as part of the business we'll be doing?

Problem is some people see democracy as a continuation of the consumer society, rather than something you participate in to effect change like previous generations did. They act like it's up to 'them' ('the Politicians') to offer us something we want to vote for, and if there isn't anything they like or can't get what they want they go off in a huff or throw a tantrum.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Do the new floodlights eat into jolleys playing budget or is it a separate maintenance cost that the club has factored in ?

Debating taking my 3 year old to his first game on Saturday

Why not? I've grown up watching the team we all love under them floodlights, lets make his first game, the last game at BP as I've grown up watching it.

He won't remember it, but I will, and hopefully, be the first of many
