He was gutted we'd lost, and promised he and the rest of the team 'were trying'. I believed him, he is unfortunate in that his body language doesn't always look the best and fans don't like that. That said, I can only agree with what the majority have said. He looks miles short at league level. He'll certainly be released in July and I wish him well for the future.

Appreciate Wilkes had injury problems whilst at town but based on performances at town who would want a front three of Wilkes, Matt & Hooper certainly not me but between them think they will have scored 50+ goals this season.
